ZEISS Sponsored BBRC Award "The Carl Zeiss Award 2018'

    Presented by TV's Simon King

    Saturday 18th August - 16:00 - 16:30

Following its introduction back in 1991, “The Carl Zeiss Award” is an award that recognises one unique photographer by the BBRC (British Birds Rarities Committee).

Formerly awarded for the most instructive photograph, or series of photographs showcasing a rarity submission, the award now focuses around the best overall submission to the competition.

25 years after the inception of the award, entries have risen along with the overall quality of all entries. This has made the judging process this year harder than ever before.

The award will be presented in the Simon King Wildlife Marquee from 16:00 on Saturday 18th August. ZEISS are pleased that the award will be presented by naturalist, TV presenter and ZEISS Ambassador Simon King. The winner will receive a pair of ZEISS Victory SF 8x42 Binoculars as their prize.

Click here to visit the BBRC's website to read more about the award.
