For high throughput digitization of geology and petrology thin sections.

  • Perform high throughput digitization of your geological and petrological thin sections to get an understanding of reservoir quality and homogeneity
  • Digitize up to 100 (1” x 3”) thin sections or 50 (28mm x 48mm) petrology slides under various contrast modes: bright field, polarization and fluorescence
  • Use the web-based ZEN browser application to organize high resolution images into a web based format for virtual microscopy
  • Eliminate the need for repetitive imaging by sharing the multimodal high resolution images with collaborators all over the world.

Experience the flexibility and high throughput performance of the ZEISS Axio Scan.Z1, during the virtual slide creation. If you would like the opportunity to scan your own samples during the session, please request this upon registration.

To register for one of the Axio Scan.Z1 Demos, please complete your details below. Please include your top 3 preferable slots. Sessions will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis, and will be arranged by a member of our team who will confirm your allocated session. 

You are also welcome to bring along your own samples to be scanned. If you wish to bring your own samples, please provide details in the comments box below.

Sessions can also be attended by an individual, or by a group of up to 5 colleagues. Please include details below if your colleagues will be joining you.
