Lindsey Axe - Senior Research Technician, School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Cardiff University
“Matthew Harbin of Metprep is an invaluable microscopy aide/mentor to the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. He has supplied all the microscope and imaging equipment in our research lab and also many of our teaching microscopes and has provided ongoing advice, support and servicing requirements for the last 22 years. In our research microscopy and imaging lab, we have a diverse range of microscopes including high resolution biological microscopes for imaging microfossils, stereomicroscopes for imaging fossils/rocks and petrological microscopes for imaging thin sections and polished blocks. Matthew has such extensive knowledge of all microscopy and imaging techniques and it is so reassuring to be able to contact him for help and advice and to keep us up to date on all of these topics.”

Professor Vasileios Koutsos - Deputy Head of Research, School of Engineering, The University of Edinburgh
“Metprep have been instrumental in guiding us to select an appropriate high-quality microscope and accessories for our diverse applications and specific requirements. They delivered the system in time and installed the system and accessories competently. They have continued to support us hands-on with advice and visits when required. This continuing support and personal contact is invaluable and very much appreciated.”

Lucia Burgio - Senior Scientist at the Victoria and Albert Museum
“The Science lab at the V&A has recently acquired a ZEISS Axio Imager M2m which is being used for the analysis of samples from museum objects. During the procurement stage, Matthew Harbin of ZEISS partner MetPrep Ltd stood out for the competence and professionalism of their national product manager. Matthew’s advice was crucial during the selection of the best possible imaging solution for the V&A. We look forward to the next few years of intensive usage of the new microscope, which is already generating beautiful and informative images of our samples and providing us with crucial information about our precious objects.”
