Their specialist engineers are approved ZEISS Sales and Service partners, who are certified and factory trained by ZEISS with over 40 years’ combined experience, and as a result have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Combining their experience in microscopy with their bespoke machine shop provides you a one stop solution for your needs.

ZEISS and K-Tec Microscope Services have worked together for many years. K-Tec Microscope Services are based in Stevenage and work with customers in the South of England. They supply the full range of ZEISS light microscopes including the widefield, stereo and zoom microscopes. In addition to this they offer a range of service related support for new and old microscopes.

Meet the team

Kevin Champion – Director & Senior Engineer

Kevin began as an Apprentice Instrument maker for British Aerospace guided weapons group, moving onto Optical equipment for Hall & Watts before starting a 25-year career with ZEISS. During his time at ZEISS Kevin working on all types of Optical from Theodolites to microscopes, until Kevin decided to start K-Tec Microscope Services.

Louis Champion – Sales & Service Engineer

Louis completed a Diploma in transport maintenance before working for a transport company. From this Louis moved to work for K-Tec Microscope Services and has been there for 9 years as a Sales and Service Engineer. Louis has completed factory training in Germany on widefield microscope systems.
