Best-in-class total elevation travel

A massive total elevation travel of 40.7 MRAD or 140 MOA allows the ZEISS LRP S5 to be more capable than your ammunition – and engage targets up to 1,500 yards and beyond out-of-the-box.

Daylight visible illuminated reticle

Digitally controlled diffractive reticle illumination technology delivers an exceptionally bright point of aim – regardless of the amount of incoming light – allowing you to confirm precise shot placement on target.

Highly repeatable and tactile turrets

Precise adjustments provide you with absoluteassurance of making the most accurate shotspossible – regardless of distance.

High-performance optics

Premium optical design with SCHOTT glass, fluoride lens elements and ZEISS T* coatings allows for optimum target identification, resolution of target and maximum light transmission of 90%.

Compact and heavy-duty riflescope

Final validation of the design proves the ZEISS LRP S5 riflescopes withstand multiple shock tests of an enormous 1,500 g-force. Design requirements also include initial shock testing of over 800 impact cycles at 1,000 g-force.

ZEISS T* Coating

ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast images which you will experience above all in adverse light conditions and in the twilight. Behind it, however, there is no specific formula for building up the layers. Instead, it is a technology that is constantly adjusted to suit new glass materials and requirements, which varies from lens to lens.

ZEISS LRP S5

Your demands for excellent optics at PRS and NRL competitions are met with the all-new LRP S5. Both models utilize a 34 mm main tube, European-style fast-focus eyepiece, Ballistic Stop elevation turret (with 40.7 MRAD or 140 MOA of total elevation travel), and an external locking windage turret.

Confidence in toughest conditions.

Shock

Precision in the face of stress

When you’re out hunting, the optics are exposed to extreme forces whenever shots are fired with the variety of different calibres and weapons often fall over - ZEISS optics confidently brave all this and more during every hunting trip*.

*A test shot is recommended after unintentional blows or shocks to the target optics.

Shock test with up to 1,500 times g-force

1,500 g corresponds to the shooting load of the .460 Weatherby Magnum calibre.

Waterproofness

Washed with all waters

Hours of waiting in the unrelenting pouring rain when out driven hunting, or the necessary cleaning of the optics with a water bottle – ZEISS hunting optics are built to be used and remain waterproof even when things get rough.

Waterproofing immersion test

Our tests simulate continuous rain and complete immersion of the optics in water, ensuring that all ZEISS optics are fully waterproof.

Continuous shocks

Tenaciously mobile

Driving along bumpy forest and country lanes with the gun in the boot or navigating rough terrain on foot – bumps and shocks are a normal part of hunting. So it’s all the better if the optics are prepared*

*A test shot is recommended after unintentional blows or shocks to the target optics.

Continuous shocks for 90 minutes

Even after one and a half hours of continuous vibration in different directions, the group of the optics remains unchanged.

Temperature

From the Sahara to the Arctic

From the heat of the hut to the bitter cold of the outdoors, or hours in the blazing sun – ZEISS hunting optics operate reliably in extreme climatic conditions.

Temperature shock

Deep freezing to -40°C and temperature shocks from -25° to 50°C in under 5 minutes. In the climatic chamber, ZEISS optics are tested to the material's limits.

Corrosion

Hard shell, hard core

When you go hunting, your optics are often exposed to aggressive liquids such as hand sweat and cosmetics. But thanks to a high-quality seal, these don’t stand a chance against ZEISS optics.

24 hours in salt spray

Side by side with metal test strips, ZEISS optics were stored in an aggressive salt water spray for 24 hours. While the test strips were covered in rust, the optics were entirely unfazed.

Reticle ZF-MOAi | Reticle 17 Illuminated

The ZF-MOAi smart reticle was designed with precision shooting and long-range hunting in mind. This is a great reticle for the most challenging shots in the field and on the range. The clean and clutter-free reticle utilizes hash marks that represent 1 MOA (minute of angle), and even numbers are displayed for fast visual reference. The windage dots below centerline are placed at 2 MOA increments, so that you can easily confirm the wind’s influence on the bullet’s impact down-range. The floating center point of aim provides a precise hold on the most difficult targets.

Reticle ZF-MRi | Reticle 16 Illuminated

The ZF-MRi smart reticle was designed with professional input from active competitors and instructors. Its purpose is to dominate at PRS and NRL matches. The milliradian (MRAD) reticle incorporates a "tree-style" primary structure with useful hash marks, dots, and reference numbers –without the clutter. The points-of-aim and holds are represented in 0.2, 0.5, and 1.0 MRAD increments; and even numbers are displayed for fast and intuitive visual reference. If winning is your goal, then the ZF-MRi reticle was made for you.
