Positioning of screen/illumination
Screens should be positioned at right angles to windows.
They should not be installed in such a way that you are looking out of a window or at a bright surface.
Reflections from windows, lights or bright surfaces on the screen should be avoided to the greatest possible extent. Screen filters, curtains or special lighting may provide a suitable remedy here.
Fluorescent tube lighting should be installed so that it runs parallel to the direction in which you are looking when using your computer.
Separate lighting at your computer workstation is not recommended. | | |
