Stylus systems can be easily assembled using the virtual CALYPSO CAD offline stylus kit. These configurations are then used to check the accessibility of the measuring location. Equipment can be loaded and included in the simulation which not only tests if the measuring location is accessible, but also reliably recognizes and saves any collisions resulting from a faulty measurement plan. Furthermore, they are quickly and easily corrected before the real measuring run takes place. These possibilities considerably reduce the approach times on the coordinate measuring machine. | |
