CALYPSO Planner makes it possible to create complete CNC measurement plans at a remote computer CAD offline station. Performing this task offline frees up valuable measuring capacity. Measurement plans can be generated offline, i.e. away from the machine, with a CALYPSO Planner offline package, resulting in the following advantages:
- The entire machine capacity is available while the measurement plan is being created
- Unproductive approach times are reduced considerably
- The focus is on efficient programming away from the machine and measuring lab
- It is possible to generate and optimize a measurement plan on the CAD model before the finished part is available
