With GEAR PRO, Carl Zeiss delivers gear wheel measuring software that ideally meets the needs of the users of CNC measuring machines. The advances in computer technology have been systematically implemented – primarily graphic, interactive, self-explanatory user interfaces and CAD support. With GEAR PRO involute, spur gears can be measured with or without a rotary table. GEAR PRO bevel is used to measure bevel gears and GEAR PRO worm is used to measure worms.
Gear tooth measurements using CMMs are effective. They have become the standard directly in production or in a nearby measuring lab. Gear tooth measurements on a ZEISS measuring machine with an active scanning probe system are efficient: VAST, VAST Gold, VAST XT or high-speed scanning system.

Feature-oriented CALYPSO measuring software simplifies the calibration of the stylus system and the rotary table axis, the definition of the workpiece alignment and the generation and execution of the CNC measuring run. The computer equipment operating under Windows permits easy access to all functions via icons and menu bars.
Workpieces are managed and data stored on a computer or a network. Thus, GEAR PRO is not limited in the number of workpieces or quantity of measurement data. The workpiece management function, which is similar to Windows Explorer, enables easy and fast identification. | |
